A Sense of Common Purpose at GOTS Round Tables in the UK and Germany

GOTS Round Tables are organized worldwide, bringing together stakeholders to receive feedback on the specific needs of market participants. The round table "Advertise and Communicate with GOTS" held in Germany on 3rd December led to new ideas on how to promote GOTS to consumers.

In the UK, on 4th December,  participants elaborated on the topic of organic cotton, with insights from sustainable cotton expert Simon Ferrigno, writer for EcoTextile News and author of the forthcoming Insiders-Guide to Cotton Sustainability, who gave an inspiring account of the urgent need for change in the industry.

More impressions are available on our LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.

Event Press Releases are available here. Dates for upcoming events are announced in the Meet GOTS Section below.

GOTS Lecture at Parsons Design School

Students at Parsons School of Design in Shanghai joined a workshop hosted by Felicia Shi, GOTS Representative in Greater China. Students were challenged to question existing perceptions of fashion through their unique lens. Felicia shared her insights and engaged the students in discussions around sustainable fashion in China, related policies, UN SDGs and GOTS as a verification tool for sustainability along the supply-chain.

Lectures from GOTS Representatives in academic institutions expose students to real opportunities and challenges and allow them to elaborate on how to enhance sustainability in the industry.
