The companies were found to have falsified transportation documents and failed to provide documents required to verify physical movement of goods to their stated buyers.

The CB suspended the companies and proceeded with a detailed investigation in the matter. Based on the findings, recommendation by the CB the GOTS Management decided to ban these organisations from certification for a minimum period of 2 years.

The GOTS Management deleted the name of the facility (Panchdeep Cotton Industries) from this listing after the CB confirmed that this entity was a sub-contractor and not a facility of the Scope Certificate holder – and that it’s name  was included incorrectly by the CB in the Scope Certificate of the banned company.
