Authentication method(s) for GOTS certificates

There have been cases of invalid certificates which have been faked or manipulated. Below you’ll find one or more methods to authenticate a GOTS certificate at hand. Should you not be able to obtain confirmation of the certificate’s authenticity, please inform GOTS (qa@global-standard.org) and the certification body about this. We’ll get back to you.

You may send the GOTS certificate to be authenticated to the following email address and should have a response about the authenticity of the certificate within two business days of the certification body.

You may go to the following web page where you can enter information about the certificate to have it authenticated immediately.
Certipedia - Certificate Database from TÜV Rheinland, please kindly use GOTS Scope Certificate Number (or Company Name, License No.) to search on Homepage >Certified Management Systems and Services of Companies, then the information of certificate validity can be showed immediately.
