SUSTAINABLE SPINNING AND COMMODITIES PVT LTD

The Certification Body found evidence that Sustainable Spinning and Commodities PVT Ltd deliberately entered incorrect information and/or misleading documentation and/or inaccurate documentation into the Intertek SourceClear platform to obtain transaction certificates purporting to record sales of organic cotton which are not based in fact. Such activity constitutes a violation of applicable certification or legal standards.

The Management deliberated the matter, issued a notice to the company regarding potential certification ban. The company responded with certain observations which were then taken up with the respective CB. After studying the observations, the CB confirmed that no new information was provided and reiterated the recommended certification ban. The management therefore decided to constitute a certification ban for a minimum period of 2 years.
